New data on economic impact of local nonprofit arts and culture industry on Portland metro area – to be released Wednesday, June 6
WHAT: On June 6, the Regional Arts & Culture Council and Northwest Business for Culture & the Arts will release data from a new national study that quantifies the extent to which Portland area nonprofit arts and culture organizations contribute to the local economy. The study offers compelling, quantifiable evidence that the nonprofit arts and culture industry generates jobs, income for local businesses and individuals, and tax revenues for local and state government.
WHEN & WHERE: In addition to a news release available Wednesday morning, a summary of the new data will be presented at several June 6 th events that offer photo and interview opportunities for the media.
