Regional Arts & Culture Council Launches
New Art Resource Links at www.racc.org
The Regional Arts & Culture Council (RACC) has launched a new searchable database with links to more than 700 local, national, and international resources for artists and arts professionals.
www.racc.org/artlinks includes descriptions of local arts and culture organizations, arts education resources, artist websites, galleries, and a variety of professional services for the working artist – including legal, insurance, and marketing assistance. Visitors may search according to locale and among a variety of artistic disciplines. Individuals and organizations who offer resources and services for artists may submit listings for RACC’s consideration to Mary Bauer at mbauer@racc.org.
In addition to this new Art Links database, RACC offers a other searchable databases on its website, including GrantSearch, for funding opportunities (www.racc.org/grantsearch); a Public Art Search database (www.racc.org/PubArtSearch), and a Cultural Event Calendar with a comprehensive listing of RACC-funded events (www.racc.org/calendar). RACC is committed to building its online services for a growing local arts community; web traffic to www.racc.org has more than doubled over the past year, to an estimated 386,116 unique visits in 2006.
Through vision, leadership and service the Regional Arts
& Culture Council works to integrate arts and culture in all aspects of
community life.
