Arts Grants Available for
Artists, Organizations & Schools
The Regional Arts & Culture Council (RACC) invites individual artists,
non-profit organizations and schools in Multnomah, Washington and Clackamas
Counties to apply for Project Grants for a specific art project or event
taking place in 2006.
Through competitive grants programs RACC seeks to enhance and enrich artistic
activity throughout the Portland region by supporting talented artists and
creative projects generated by organizations and schools. These Project Grants
provide financial support to individual artists and organizations that offer
a specific art presentation, exhibit or creation of work available to the
public. An arts project should possess artistic quality, imaginative scope
and vision, and be fully executed within calendar year 2006. RACC offers
funding for Project Grants in the following three categories: Artistic Focus,
Neighborhood Arts, and Arts-in-Schools (K-12).
Visit the RACC website at www.racc.org for
more details on eligibility and project definitions. Guidelines may be downloaded
from the site or contact
RACC at 503.823.5111 or info@racc.org. The Deadline for Individual Artists
to submit applications is August 15, 2005 by 5pm. The Deadline for Organizations
is August 22, 2005 by 5pm.
Through vision, leadership and service the Regional Arts
& Culture Council works to integrate arts and culture in all aspects of
community life.
