Holiday Art Sales Events 2007
For original gift ideas and artistic excellence, visit these art sales events taking place in the tri-county Portland area during this holiday season. The following is a chronological listing of sales events in November and December, 2007:
• Handmade for the Holidays (Continues to 1/6/08. Museum of Contemporary Craft, 724 NW Davis, Tues-Sun 11 am-6 pm, Thurs 11 am-8 pm) Artists from across the country offer their top-notch craft goods—it's unlikely you'll encounter anything amateur here.
• Kwanzaa Marketplace & Exhibit (12/1-30, 11am-4pm, IFCC - Interstate Firehouse Cultural Center, 5340 North Interstate Avenue.) The Marketplace will include handmade cards, notebooks, jewelry, candles, designer pillowcases, handbags, Kinaras and libation cups for sale by local artists.
• Deck the Walls (12/4-30, 416 NW 12th Ave.) For the month of December, Print Arts Northwest will fill their walls with small framed works by PAN artists for sale as holdiay gifts..
