Audiences and Arts Advocates

A strong arts and culture community is built by strong advocates for the arts. We invite you to get involved in the community and support your local artists and arts organizations!

  • Check out what’s happening around town in the RACC Cultural Events Calendar.
  • Sign up for the monthly (electronic) or bi-monthly (printed) RACC newsletter, Art Notes, to stay informed of the current art scene.
  • Support arts and culture in our community by making a gift to the Regional Arts & Culture Council, which works to integrate arts and culture in all aspects of community life, or by making a single gift to the Work for Art , which distributes all proceeds to more than 70 local arts organizations.
  • Check out a new initiative to bring arts education to Portland region schools. Arts Partners is a collaborative initiative involving RACC, NW Business for Culture and the Arts, Young Audiences of Oregon and SW Washington, city and county governments and 5 local schools districts.
