Welcoming RACC’s new IT Manager

Our IT specialist of the last ten years, Chris Bisgard, recently left us for Portland Center Stage – apparently his deep love of theater tugged him too hard to resist! But we are pleased to have found another Chris – Chris Tew – to take over RACC’s technology reigns starting this week.

Chris is originally from Las Vegas, and most recently worked as the Systems Engineer for CD Baby here in Portland. He brings 15 years of IT experience to managing RACC’s technology team – John Henry Dale and Phoebe Southwood – and the systems that they support. A graduate of UNLV with a BA in English, he can often be found with his face buried in a book at one of Portland’s many great coffee shops. He tells me that he also enjoys traveling around Oregon and the world, cycling, clambering up and down mountains, attending plays, going to museums, and loudly sharing his sometimes extreme opinions about what makes a good bagel & lox platter.
Chris has hit the ground running, and we are looking forward to having him help us explore RACC’s technological future. So welcome to RACC, Chris. We are glad to have you here!

Congrats to Chris Tew! RACC is a wonderful organization, as well as a great place to work. The choice to leave was incredibly difficult. I will forever fondly remember my years there, and my terrific coworkers. Best of luck to Chris and everyone at RACC.
