SUN Arts Program |
The Regional Arts & Culture Council believes that arts and cultural learning
are critical components of a complete education for all of our region’s
youth. The Arts Education Program at RACC provides financial resources and professional
support to artists, organizations and schools to create effective working partnerships
and arts-rich learning environments. This is accomplished through program coordination,
direct grants and subsidies.
RACC Education Services are available to constituents in Clackamas, Multnomah and Washington counties. RACC has identified three strategic
ambitions to guide our arts education programs and services:
- Strengthen and increase available funding
- Provide holistic service and resources to the community in collaboration
with statewide, regional and local partners
- Create, organize and promote arts education networking opportunities
RACC is the designated regional partner in the Oregon Arts Commission (OAC)
Regional Arts Education Network which provides arts education services and information
throughout the state.
