The Cultural Advocacy Coalition, The Oregon Arts Commission, and the Oregon Cultural Trust are our partners in advocating for arts and culture at the state level.
RACC partners with Americans for the Arts and the Arts Action Fund for arts advocacy at the federal level.
Art. Ask for More is a national campaign to support arts education in the schools.
The Oregon Art PAC is non-partisan political action committee that supports local candidates who are committed to increasing public funding for arts and culture.
Act for Art, published in 2009, is a five-year action plan for arts and culture in the region.
Art spark on Nov 15

Art + Activism is the focus of the Nov. 15 RACC Art Spark event, right in time for election season. B Media Collective pairs up with the Hollywood Theater for an evening highlighting the theatre of politics and the art of democracy. Featuring local art activists like Just Seeds, Project Grow, and a variety of community media movers and shakers in Portland like the Sisters of the Road Empowered Voices Media Project. The event will feature the premiere of Electile Dysfunction, B Media's latest Variety Show, a 1/2 hour episode of remixed video vaudeville for the masses.
Bonus – a special offer for Art Spark guests! RACC will be selling discounted tickets to our pARTy in the name of Art on 12/7. Dance party tickets – usually $25 – will be available at Art Spark for only $15 each.
